We may collect various types of personal information from you which may include your name, email address, month and year of your birth, or other information you provide to us or grant us access to, such as Device Identifiers (as defined below), basic account information, and related product and service usage information, (“Your Information”).

Usage Information Collection
Subject to your consent and/or applicable law, we may use a variety of technologies that collect and provide information about how the Site is accessed and used as well as demographic information about the users of the Site which we may obtain from third parties such as Google or Apple (“Usage Information”).  Usage Information may consist of the Site pages you viewed, the time you viewed them, in what language, the number of times a feature on the Site is used, total Site usage time, and demographic information about you so that we get a better idea of how our users interact with our Site and can then tailor and improve accordingly.

Subject to your consent and/or applicable law, we collect your device-specific information, such as the hardware model, settings, operating system version, IP address or other unique identifier for the computer, mobile device, technology or other device (collectively, “Device”) you use to access the Site. A unique identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device when you access a web site or its servers, and our computers identify your Device by this number (“Device Identifier”). Subject to your consent and/or applicable law, some service providers may also provide us with the physical location of the Device used to access the Site, and we may collect and store information locally on your Device using mechanisms such as application data caches.

4. How we treat children’s personal information

Our Site is not intended for children under the age of eighteen (“Minor”), so we do not knowingly collect personal information from Minors. You must be at least eighteen years old to engage in activities and transactions on our Site. If we are notified or learn that a Minor has submitted personal data to us through our Site, we will delete such personal data.

Pursuant to valid requests by law enforcement agencies, we may also use Device Identifiers to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with copyright owners, Internet service providers, wireless service providers or law enforcement agencies, in our discretion. Some of the parties identified above may be located in countries that do not provide an equivalent level of protection as your home country. Where required, we will take appropriate measures to allow and secure the transfer of information about you to these recipients for the purposes described above and in order to comply with local data privacy laws, including by entering into data transfer agreements based on the Model Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

International Transfers
Your Information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where we host our Site, and to the third parties identified above, which may be located in countries, such as the United States, that do not provide an equivalent level of protection as your home country. Where required, we will take appropriate measures to allow and secure the transfer of information about you to these recipients for the purposes described above and in order to comply with local data privacy laws, including by entering into data transfer agreements based on the Model Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

7. Your rights: accessing and amending Your Information

You have the right to access Your Information held by us and, if necessary, have it amended to correct any errors. You also have the right to object to the processing of Your Information as described in this Privacy Policy for legitimate purposes, except where the data processing is implemented in compliance with mandatory provisions of the applicable law. With respect to Sony Pictures’ mobile apps (“apps”), you can stop all collection of data generated by use of the app by uninstalling the app. To uninstall an app, follow the instructions from your operating system or device manufacturer. Also, you may be able to exercise specific privacy choices, such as enabling or disabling certain location-based services, by adjusting the permissions in your mobile device.

8. What steps do we take to keep Your Information secure?

We implement appropriate technical, administrative and physical measures to help protect and secure Your Information. These measures ensure an appropriate level of security in light of the risks inherent to the processing and nature of the information collected. However, no electronic data transmission or storage of information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

9. How can we make changes to our Privacy Policy?

We reserve the right to change the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time by prominently posting notice of the amendment on our Site. The changes will become effective fourteen days after posting and apply to all Your Information. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy that materially impact the way that we collect, process or store Your Information, we will, to the extent that we have your email address, notify you by email and obtain your consent.
